Bath, England (PRWEB UK) 24 October 2014 -- 222 Sports are delighted to announce the launch of their new mini-Club SWIMTAG system.
Since bringing the original Club SWIMTAG system to market, SWIMTAG has been installed in 75 pools in the UK and 5 in Europe and Scandinavia.
The new mini-Club SWIMTAG has been designed as a budget alternative to the Club SWIMTAG system and means that every swimming pool can now inspire their members with this new technology.
The new mini-Club SWIMTAG has five docking bays rather than ten and comes with five wristbands as standard. It’s as quick and easy to install as a printer and available on a range of low cost payment options to suit every budget.
222 Sports Managing Director Kieran Sloyan said “We’ve had a tremendous amount of success with our Club SWIMTAG system and we are on course to install SWIMTAG into our 100th pool before the end of the year. We are particularly pleased with the success our current pools have had using SWIMTAG to increase adult participation in swimming. We want this trend to continue so we have created the mini-Dock to bring SWIMTAG to an affordable price for smaller community pools, school pools and any other pool operating with a tight budget.”
About SWIMTAG
SWIMTAG is the ultimate training aid for swimmers which counts lengths and strokes, tells users how fast they have swum each length and gives them lots of other great stats like calories burned, distance per stroke. Users can compete with other swimmers, post details of their swim on Facebook and even take part in challenges like swimming the English channel in the comfort of their local pool.
SWIMTAG is unique because it is the only swim tracking system that is sold directly to pools, making it free at the point of use in all health clubs and leisure centres.
The development of SWIMTAG started in 2009 and the first systems were sold in early 2012. The number of pools with SWIMTAG has been growing steadily ever since with major players in the fitness industry such as Places for People Leisure and Virgin Active using SWIMTAG at multiple sites.
SWIMTAG data can be imported to other fitness tracking systems like the Technogym mywellness cloud and MYZONE accounts.
All the major components of SWIMTAG are designed and manufactured in the UK.
