Orange County, CA (PRWEB) August 04, 2015 -- 24/7 Care At Home, a provider of comprehensive home health care services throughout Orange County, Los Angeles, Riverside, and San Bernardino, today announced that the U.S. Department of Veteran’s Affairs (VA) has awarded its agency a rating of two stars. Two stars indicate that 24/7 Care At Home’s agency is well on the path to meeting the aspirational goals the VA promotes each year.
The U.S. Department of Veteran’s Affairs rates medical providers on a quarterly basis. Stars are awarded based on how closely each provider is to meeting the standards the VA establishes to promote best practices for veterans receiving heath care services. Two stars are given to medical providers who meet the goal with over a 70 percent success rate.
“We feel privileged to provide care for the men and women who have sacrificed a great deal to serve our country,” commented Michelle Nguyen, RN, BSN, Director of Patient Care Services at 24/7 Care At Home. “It is a great honor to be recognized by the VA as an organization dedicated to providing high-quality care to our veterans.”
“I am often moved to tears when I see how the 'We Honor Veterans' program impacts the patient and their loved ones,” shared Jamie Slade, Volunteer Coordinator at 24/7 Care At Home. “The veterans’ military experience is still fresh in their memory, even decades after their retirement; and when we pause to recognize, honor, and celebrate their contribution to our country, there is a deep appreciation for both the veteran and the hospice team. We are privileged to be a part of this VA program."
