24-Year-Old Award-Winning Designer Starts Tech Company Called Tracy Trackers to Help Dog Owners Better Understand Man’s Best Friend
Stockholm, Sweden (PRWEB) June 13, 2016 -- When 24-year-old millennial Artan Mansouri’s girlfriend's dog ran away during a cold Swedish winter, he was left to wander the frozen tundra alone. It was then Mansouri decided to put his expert design skills to work and engineer the first device for dogs that not only tracks the dog's location but also tracks health statistics using A.I. technology. Tracy, named after his lost companion, is a device that Mansouri created that hooks onto a dog’s collar to read stats and data never known to humans before. This wearable for dogs is the first designed to not only give the owner accurate information, but is also beautifully designed.
With Tracy, dog owners are able to learn more about their dog than ever thought possible. Tracy is able to track things like location and relay information to the owner’s smartphone in real time, alerting the owner if the dog ventures into uncharted territory. Most importantly Tracy is able to give the dog’s owner peace of mind because the device is able to detect any health problems and irregularities. These can be as simple as not drinking enough water or needing more exercise, to instances that could be signs of severe problems such as heart disease. The data that is collected can also be sent to the vet for review.
“When my girlfriend’s dog went missing, I knew I needed to do something to prevent this from happening to others,” said Mansouri. “When I began designing the device and thinking of ways to make it innovative and unique, I thought what better opportunity than to give dog owners the ability to know more about their dog than ever before- and that is when Tracy was born.”
It is Mansouri’s creative side that drove him to create a device like Tracy. A self-proclaimed “Creative Hustler,” Mansouri dabbled in many different industries before creating the innovative wearable for dogs. Before Tracy, Mansouri worked on campaigns across the world including Lexus, Godiva and many large name sportswear brands such as Reebok Classic. His design skills also helped him launch a t-shirt collection that was retailed by the biggest department store for luxury fashion in Sweden. The collection is often worn by high profile individuals.
Now that Mansouri has transitioned from full-time designer to the tech world, he successfully designed Tracy to be beautifully crafted and effective. Tracy is also the smallest, longest lasting tracker on the market to date. The battery has the capability to last up to six months on a single charge. The tracker is also waterproof to withstand rain, spontaneous jumps in the pool or days at the beach.
