San Diego, CA (PRWEB) December 18, 2013 -- AttorneyOne.com, a recognized authority on law, updated the website recently and they are now actively providing expert opinion in view of the recent news on Mirena IUD Lawsuits.
According to court data updated on December 16, by the Judicial Panel on Multidistrict Litigation, there are 296 cases pending in the Mirena IUD Multidistrict Litigation (MDL no. 2434, U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York). The Mirena IUD, manufactured by Bayer, is an intrauterine device (IUD) that is inserted into the uterus as a contraceptive method.

Taking into consideration the latest developments, AttorneyOne.com updated the website and, now, can actively provide an expert opinion including how to get in contact with legal counsel easily and inexpensively in cases of severe complications, allegedly from Mirena IUD. Sean Burke, director of Media Relations at AttorneyOne.com, adds that the relevant information illustrates that people continue to file Mirena IUD lawsuits. "For that reason", he continues, "our focus should squarely fall on getting the word out and assisting people in finding the right legal assistance.”
Another lawsuit was filed on November 1, by a woman in Pennsylvania Western District Court (2:2013cv01583) alleging that she suffered injuries from her Mirena IUD. In the lawsuit, the plaintiff claims that she was implanted with the Mirena IUD in 2010 and after the procedure she experienced complications. According to the lawsuit, in 2011, it was revealed that the device had migrated and perforated her uterus, requiring surgical removal.
