2,000,000 Safe Work Hours Achieved!
RICHLAND, Wash. (PRWEB) June 28, 2016 -- Dade Moeller, an NV5 Company, announces that its team of dedicated employees has surpassed a significant milestone – working safely for 2,000,000 hours without an Occupational Safety and Health Administration recordable injury. This is an important achievement for any company, but especially for one like Dade Moeller, which provides worker safety and radiation protection services, often in high-hazard areas. This milestone was accomplished with nearly six years of incident-free work.
“Worker health and safety is not just a service we provide,” said Dade Moeller President David McCormack, “but also an integral part of our corporate culture. Safety drives our decision-making and daily practices with appropriate planning, controls, and oversight. Making sure that our employees, and our customers’ employees, go home to their families at the end of each day is a commitment we take very seriously.”
Under the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970, U.S. companies are required to record certain work-related injuries and illnesses. Dade Moeller reached the 1,000,000 hour mark in January 2013 and passed the 2,000,000 hour milestone on the last day of May 2016. The achievement will be celebrated tonight at the company’s Richland summer picnic, and throughout the summer at the company’s other office locations.
