2 Outstanding Property Management Pros Named 2016 Property Hero Award Winners
Waltham, MA (PRWEB) December 19, 2016 -- Catherine Bradshaw of Highwoods Properties (Raleigh), and Erik Aponte of Butters Construction have been named the winners of the 2016 Property Hero Awards, which recognize the most passionate, professional, and progressive-thinking individuals in commercial property operations.
This year’s winners were selected by popular vote, out of a group of 32 finalists, in the “Maintenance” and newly created “Management” categories. The finalists were selected from a group of over 212 nominees named by industry peers and building tenants for their tales of workplace excellence.
“It can be very challenging to work in the high-paced, ultra-competitive world of commercial property management,” states Sarah Fisher, Director of Marketing Communications at Building Engines. “As such, it is important to be able to highlight the best that the field has to offer, and elevate them as the standard-bearers for their peers. What they do each and every day impacts the lives of so many people, and they deserve high praise for their efforts.”
The 2016 Property Hero Awards ran from November 14th to December 19th, collecting over 200 nominees named by industry professionals and their building tenants, and an incredible 2,708 votes in the Maintenance and Management categories over the course of just two weeks.
“We (and our co-sponsors) are so thrilled for Catherine and Erik, and we hope that their stories and example will inspire commercial management and maintenance professionals everywhere to rise up and become heroes of their own properties!,” says Fisher.
Both of the winners of Building Engines 2016 Property Hero Awards will receive $1,200, and exclusive coverage in Building Beat, a commercial property management blog. The two runners-up in each category will receive $300.
