33 Revelations of a Burdened Poet
SYDNEY, Australia (PRWEB) June 23, 2016 -- Drug abuse, teen depression and mental illness are not commonly thought of as poetic subjects. However, in his new book “Tapestries of Life’s Poetries” author Anthony Urzia draws from his own struggle with these issues and penned a collection of poetry shedding light on a dark subject.
Seeking to pull himself out of the darkness he experienced through drugs and mental illness, author Anthony Urzia sought poetry as a way to overcome his inner struggles. In “Tapestries of Life’s Poetries” Urzia writes with candidness and vulnerability sending a resonating message on the mental effects of drug use.
At 25-years-old Urzia lost his battle and passed away leaving behind a written legacy intended to help and inspire others. In his search for answers, Urzia sought guidance and motivation by reading the Bible.
“Anthony got lost and found his way back,” said Urzia’s mother, Vincenzina Urzia. “During those dark times his writing was his comfort zone that led him back to sanity.”
In a society filled with superficial distractions “Tapesties of Life’s Poetries” holds nothing back while drawing attention to real issues effecting millions around the world.
