360° Painting Franchisee Roxanne Conrad Named Brand President, Aims To Grow Franchisees' Businesses Through Systemwide Development
After years in corporate America and five years as a successful franchisee, Conrad and her husband continue to run a successful territory as she takes on a new leadership role. Looking to the future, Conrad aims to grow each franchisee individually to better develop the franchise system-wide.
CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va., Nov. 18, 2022 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- 360° Painting, the residential and commercial painting franchise with over 140 units, has welcomed one of its top franchisees to the leadership team. Roxanne Conrad, who operates a multi-million-dollar location in the greater-Chicago area with her husband, Brian, is bringing her franchise experience to the President's seat.
"As a franchisee, you don't really ever see yourself on the other side of things," Conrad said. "But when Premium Service Brands approached me about the opportunity, it just kind of made sense. I understood what they wanted to bring to the table, and I have the experience to align both sides of the fence."
Before her time with 360° Painting, Conrad worked in marketing at a subsidiary of Xerox, developing her sales and marketing skills, where she met her husband. After they opened their 360° Painting franchise, Conrad was still working in corporate America and handling strategy for the franchise after hours. However, the more they grew, the more attention she needed to devote.
After she left her corporate job in May of 2018, the Conrad duo was named the 2018 Rookie of the Year Franchise at Premium Service Brand's annual convention. With this experience, Conrad says she's ready to take on her new role.
"I've been on both ends of the spectrum, and there are two things that really make a business work," she said. "The first one is drive. Premium Service Brands can provide as much support as they possibly can, but if the drive isn't there among franchisees, the business doesn't get off the ground. The second one is a defined system. Franchisees can be as driven as possible, but if they don't know the best practices or understand why something works, it is harder to grow."
"Roxanne has seen both sides of the business, and that is one of the primary reasons we're excited to welcome her as President of 360° Painting," said Paul Flick, CEO of Premium Service Brands. "She has both the drive and a thorough understanding of the system we've developed and after 5 years of exceptional business ownership has proven herself to be an invaluable resource to the 360° Painting franchise network."
Looking to the future, Conrad is prepared to connect professionals across the system to combine franchisees' drive and Premium Service Brands' support, creating the strongest franchise network. Regardless of inflation, the market or zip code of a territory, a franchise's success is most significantly defined by the combination of drive and resources available.
"The franchisee and franchisor have to come together for there to be success," she said.
With this in mind, the franchise network will be empowered even further. Conrad's primary goal for coming years is to "make 360° the easiest painting organization to do business with."
By making the business more accessible to clients, 360° Painting and Premium Service Brands, on a larger scale, will see better growth. Of course, being in more markets nationwide and having easier technology and platforms to engage with inclines customers to hire 360° Painting. Once a franchisee can secure that client, there is great potential to develop long-lasting relationships.
"What we want to do is to bring those customers into the PSB family of home services because, at some point, they're going to need painting," she said. "They'll need garage door services, cleaning or closet organization at some point. The more clients we bring into the entire PSB family, the more clients we have available without spending marketing dollars on that one-off customer. That's part of the culture shift we're going to be focusing on in 2023 and beyond."
While Conrad is ready to treat 360° Painting as its own unique entity, working to engage its network even further with the other Premium Service Brands concepts will be great for everyone.
"If we can grow everyone, then everyone grows," she said.
The startup costs for a 360° Painting franchise range from $101,350 to $145,000. The franchise fee is $65,000. To learn more about franchising with 360° Painting, visit https://www.premiumservicebrands.com/360-painting/.
