4 Wheel Parts Presents Inaugural Silver State Rock Crawling Championship in Reno

Compton, California (PRWEB) September 25, 2015 -- 4 Wheel Parts, the global leader in off-road performance product sales and installation, will present the Silver State Rock Crawling Championship in Reno, Nevada this weekend September 26-27. This inaugural event will feature rock crawlers in cars competing on a purpose-built course at Wild West Motorsports Park just outside of Reno.

The competition kicks off on September 26-27 at 10 a.m. and goes until 4 p.m. and registration is on Friday from 4-8 p.m. This is the first time the rock crawling championship has been staged and there are already over 50 cars registered.

“One of the neat things about this is that a lot of the local guys and trail wheelers are coming out to compete,” says Jesse Haines, the Silver State Rock Crawling Championship promoter. “There are somewhat moderate courses, but we’re giving them the option to do some of the harder stuff as well.”

Vendors will be on hand and sponsors include Maxxis Tires USA, Superchips and PSC (Performance Suspension Components). Reno’s Wild West Motorsports Park is where the Ultra4 National Championship will be held in mid-October.

“We’re excited to have local rock crawling enthusiasts come together at the store where we’re hosting a special screening of Dezert People 12’s premiere,” says Ethan Verhoef, assistant manager at Reno 4 Wheel Parts store. “We have a rock garden in front of the store where people can test out their rigs along with a RTI ramp.”
