4th Entrepreneur Expo on May 12th Will Be Held at the Bio Science/Health Science Building on the Iowa Central Community College Campus in Fort Dodge, Iowa
Fort Dodge, Iowa (PRWEB) April 30, 2015 -- The Entrepreneur Expo was first held in 2012 as an opportunity for entrepreneurs to learn and network with professionals all in one location. The free event was such a huge success, the sponsors have offered the expo every year with hundreds attending from across the state. The 2015 Entrepreneur Expo will be held on Tuesday, May 12th at the Bio Science/Health Science Building at Iowa Central Community College campus in Fort Dodge, Iowa from 12:30 pm to 5:00 pm.
This year's Entrepreneur Expo will start off with Brenda Clark Hamilton. Brenda is a dynamic keynote speaker and workplace trainer who provides fresh perspectives in leadership, communication skills, team-building, and offering one’s best self to life, relationships, and career.
There will be three break out sessions for attendees. SBDC will present on Marketing Research and Business Plan. A favorite each year is the Local Start-Up Success Stories where businesses talk frankly about the good, bad and ugly of being a business owner. Sister's Homestyle Entrees will be one of the businesses. Owner Deb Davis is the 2015 Iowa Small Business Person of the Year by the U.S. Small Business Administration. The third session will be "Show Me The Money" panel featuring several financial experts. All break out sessions are free and open to the public.
Vendors answering your questions will be available all afternoon. The list of vendors includes Buena Vista University, City of Fort Dodge, Development Corporation of Fort Dodge, Frontier Communication, Greater Fort Dodge Growth Alliance, Heartland Bank, Holmes Murphy and Associates, Iowa Micro Loan, Iowa Source Link, Iowa Works, MIDAS Council of Governments, Northwest Bank, SBA, SBDC, Schnurr and Company, Spin Markket, Guthrie Realty, Iowa Realty, EntreFEST and Digity Radio. Door prizes and refreshments will also be served.
