4WD Among Sponsors at Annual Bantam Jeep Heritage Festival in Pennsylvania
Columbiana, Ohio (PRWEB) June 11, 2016 -- Prominent provider of aftermarket Jeep parts and Jeep accessories, 4WD, is a sponsor at this year’s Bantam Jeep Heritage Festival in Butler, Pennsylvania from June 10-12. 4WD is sponsoring numerous events at the festival including the Ruff ’n Tuff competition and the Show ’n Shine and will join vendors selling Jeep parts and accessories.
Last year, the event celebrated the Bantam Jeep’s 75th birthday and featured the only existing re-creation of the world's original Jeep in its history exhibit. “We are happy to be a part of the Bantam Jeep Heritage Festival and really enjoy the festivities since it’s in our backyard,” says 4WD Club/Events Coordinator Pat Sposato. 4WD is based in Columbiana, Ohio, located about an hour away from Butler. “We see many familiar faces enjoying their Jeeps and celebrating the Bantam legacy at its birthplace.”
The schedule of events includes exhibits and live demonstrations, Jeep historical speakers, outdoor activities for off-roaders and the traditional attempt to set the Guinness World Record for the largest Jeep parade. The Bantam Jeep Heritage Festival currently holds the Guinness World Record for largest parade of Jeeps at 2,420 vehicles. It was broken in 2015 along the 2.75-mile course throughout downtown Butler.
Activities take place at Cooper’s Lake Campground near Slippery Rock, Pennsylvania and in downtown Butler. The festival has authorities speaking on the history of the Jeep including author and WWII historian David Hustler, historian Lee Bortmas and Canadian author and website owner of CJ3B.info Derek Redmond.
Last November, a non-profit organization made up of committed volunteers, took over the planning and execution of the annual Festival. The Friends of the Bantam Jeep Association, Inc. (FBJA) was established to oversee the event to ensure its continuation.
Over 150 vendors will be selling products in an outdoor section of the festival and Transamerican Manufacturing Group brand Poison Spyder will be among them.
