4WD Now Selling Pro Comp Explorer Jeep Lights
Columbiana, Ohio (PRWEB) February 28, 2014 -- Prominent provider of aftermarket Jeep parts and accessories, 4WD, has started selling Pro Comp’s new line of Explorer lights for Jeeps. These are efficient, fuel friendly units and come in LED light and sport bar, HID, and halogen quartz options. 4WD is carrying these Explorer universal-mount lights for JK, TJ, LJ, YJ, CJ, and XJ Jeeps.

Efficiency is a big selling point for the ultra-bright LED lights with over 50,000 hours of life. They boast a lower wattage draw and only pull 40 watts from a Jeep’s battery. Another distinction is their design, which makes them more durable than halogen bulbs. The LED lights are especially effective for night wheeling and can be mounted in a Jeep fender well or under the chassis.
The HID lighting is 500% longer than standard halogen bulbs and produces light 300% brighter than a common 55 watt halogen bulb. The halogen quartz lights come in a variety of styles and sizes to fit different off-road applications.
One of the new trends in Jeep lighting is flat bars that come in single or double rows. These bars house multiple bulbs and offer less wind resistance. Lights that are over 55 watts are not DOT-approved which means they are strictly for off-road use. Nearly all of Pro Comp’s new line of Explorer lights are not DOT-approved.
