4Wheel Drive Hardware Among Sponsors for Bull Run Raceway Weekend Events
Columbiana, Ohio (PRWEB) July 18, 2015 -- Leading provider of aftermarket Jeep parts and accessories, 4WD, is among sponsors for the Bull Run Raceway sand and uphill drags happening this weekend July 18-19. Located in Rogers, Ohio, Bull Run Raceway is a new facility built last year that stages sand and uphill drag races, outdoor music events and camping in a family atmosphere. This weekend’s events will include sand dragging on Saturday and uphill drags with cars running side by side on Sunday.
“On Saturday, Jeeps, cars and dragsters will take on 300 feet of sand drag and then 900 feet of shut down,” says Doug Smith, Co-owner and Builder at Bull Run Raceway. “Everybody’s pleased with the way the track turned out and people from as far away as western Michigan and West Virginia have been here to experience it.”
The tracks are designed to drain quickly in case of rain and have extra material onsite to add to weather storms. The uphill drags run 125 feet long on an index pro tree and cars run side by side.

The raceway opened in August, 2014 and off-road racing enthusiasts have responded to entertaining competition. At a recent Fourth of July music event, a stage featured three different bands, covered bleachers and there was a great fireworks show. Future plans call for expansion and added attractions including a children’s playground.
