50 Foot Eight Stage Aluminum Light Tower Released by Larson Electronics
Kemp, Texas (PRWEB) September 24, 2015 -- The LM-50-8.6-8S-AL crank up eight stage light mast from Larson Electronics provides a safe and effective way for operators to quickly deploy lights, security cameras and other equipment to elevations up to fifty feet. This light boom can be extended to a height of 50 feet for maximum area coverage and collapsed to 8.6 feet for applications where a footprint smaller is required. The tower is constructed of aluminum tubing with a base stage diameter of 6.3” and a top stage diameter of 2” and is powder coated with a glossy blue finish for corrosion resistance and aesthetics. The mast is extended to its full height using an integrated manual crank hand winch with steel cabling. These light masts are typically mounted to trailers or other stable surfaces by an 18 inch by 18 inch, 3/8” thick mounting base plate which has been predrilled to accept six 1/2” anchor bolts. A 44 inch wide and 1/8” thick mounting plate is attached to the upper section of the mast which provides a strong and stable platform for lights or equipment. When lowered to 14 feet, the mast can withstand winds up to 65 miles per hour. The light tower weighs approximately 300 pounds and can easily support and lift 60 pounds of cameras, lights, and equipment.
