San Francisco, CA (PRWEB) July 12, 2013 -- Gabriella Rossetti, the new, high-end line of women’s’ wear for sizes 12-22 announced today the launch of its premiere collection. In the United States 72 percent of women wear sizes 12 and above. Yet remarkably, fewer than 15 percent of finer brands offer larger than size 12.There’s a void in the apparel market and shapelier, curvier women are being penalized. Gabriella Rossetti is filling that market gap with the sophisticated, well-made clothing women seek.
The company was named in reference to the painter Dante Gabriel Rossetti, whose lush, gorgeous paintings glorify voluptuous women. The company’s collections mirror his passion.
“Voluptuous, curvy women have consistently been denied access to luxurious, beautifully-crafted clothing, despite commanding the vast majority of market share,” says Gabriella Rossetti Founder and CEO Alison Diboll. “Gabriella Rossetti offers the tastefully designed, quality pieces that let women feel their most attractive.”
Size 14 is the US average, but more than 60 percent of women size 12 and over say they can’t find clothing of the same caliber as in standard sizes. Additionally,
• More U.S. women report wearing a size 16 dress than a size 2 and 0 combined.
• 57% of U.S. women wear at least some clothing in sizes 16 and above.
• U.S. women who primarily wear sizes 16 and above indicate that they buy over 50% more of their clothing online compared to women who only wear standard sizes.
Until August 8 the Gabriella Rossetti Collection is being sold at advantage pricing for first customers through their website http://www.gabriellarossetti.com or on Kickstarter.com.
