7th Annual Christmas at the Galt House Hotel to Return with Reimagined Luminaries, Brand New Dinner Show, Features, and Activities
Louisville, KY (PRWEB) November 10, 2016 -- Christmas at the Galt House Hotel will return for its seventh year with a brand new, one of a kind, luminary display, dazzling features, and holiday activities that will stimulate all of the senses when it opens on November 17 in Louisville, Kentucky. The 34-day Christmas event will capture guests the minute they arrive to the beautifully decorated Galt House Hotel.
New features and activities include a magnificent larger-than-life handcrafted luminary show KaLightoscope: 12 Days of Christmas. This ancient Chinese art form is created from silk wrapped around LED lighting. Christmas at the Galt House Hotel will feature over 200 stunning luminaries with custom designed props, mechanization, and sounds will entertain guests of all ages as they navigate through the classic holiday song. There is no display of this magnitude anywhere in the world.
Brand new this year, is the Ladies for Liberty and the Soldiers of Swing Holiday Dinner Show. The Ladies for Liberty will dazzle audiences across the country, with a USO-inspired songs and spirit. Their close harmony will inspire patriotism and holiday swing with boogie-woogie melodies. The Soldiers of Swing will perform big band jazz music.
As a gift to the community, Santa will return to the Christmas at the Galt House Hotel, November 17 through December 24. Families are invited to visit with Santa and take their photos. Guests will receive a complimentary photo download.
Returning favorites to Christmas at the Galt House Hotel include the English Village, Dancing Bellmen, Peppermint Express Kiddie Train, the Gingerbread House Gingerbread House Contest, Winter WonderLane, Santa’s Sleigh Green Screen, and the Holly Jolly Elf Show, featuring singing and dancing elves that were all hand selected by Santa Claus.
Other activities include Christmas Tea with the Snow Fairy Princess, Breakfast with Santa, and Dickens Dinner. These events are incredibly popular with families and continue to grow each year. The Snow Fairy Princess spends time with each child at her tea, while they indulge in cookies, cakes, tea and juices. Breakfast with Santa includes face painting, a DJ, and dance floor, with a visit from Santa. The Dickens Dinner includes a Victorian Christmas dinner served in traditional family style by Dickens Christmas characters.
