80 Watt District Makes Important Marketing Investment
The Property Business Improvement District (PBID) engages Monster Design Co. to position the district as a unique industrial hub.
SACRAMENTO, Calif., Feb. 18, 2021 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- The 80 Watt Property Business Improvement District, dedicated to the improvement of the district east of McClellan Business Park between Roseville Road and Watt Avenue, has engaged Monster Design Co. to jumpstart a dynamic new marketing effort aimed at bolstering existing businesses and attracting new enterprise to the area.
"We're thrilled to work with the team at Monster Design because of their keen insights into the challenges facing area businesses as well as the unique opportunities that the 80 Watt District has to offer," says Rebekah Evans, executive director of the 80 Watt District. "We've made tremendous strides in improving the safety, beautification and public image of the district since our founding in 2015, and this new marketing partnership will help us deliver even more tangible results to our members. The higher profile will also put us on strong footing to pursue cooperative partnerships with entities both in the district and across the region."
Over the next year, Monster Design Co. will lay the foundation for the 80 Watt District to prove itself a unique industrial hub where business gets done.
"The 80 Watt District has a lot going for it: prime warehouse space, easy access to the airport and freeways, and a supportive business climate," says Tom Beauchamp, CEO and principal creative at Monster. "Our job will be to tell that story to a bigger audience in order to support existing businesses, draw new companies to available properties, and spur growth through infill and investment in the area."
Monster Design Co., an award-winning creative agency, will be joined by its strategic partners in Trsty Media and McDermott Approach to provide expertise in strategy, branding, marketing and design. The firm has delivered successful projects for a number of downtowns, destination districts, real estate and property management clients since its founding in 2003.
Despite the turbulence throughout 2020, the 80 Watt District has continued with improvements, and it's PBID status was recently renewed for another 10 years until 2031. "There has been so much great work done," says Jerry Kobza, CEO of Trsty Media. "We want to build on those accomplishments and help take the district to the next level."
The 80 Watt District is a non-profit organization in an unincorporated area of Sacramento County, composed of over 280 local businesses, property owners, government agencies, community groups and neighbors working together to address specific challenges affecting the well-being of the community.
