8th Annual Holiday Toy Drive a Success for AlignLife of Peoria
Peoria, IL (PRWEB) December 16, 2015 -- The 8th Annual Holiday Toy Drive was held from December 1-11th at AlignLife, located at 4812 N Sheridan Road in Peoria. This event was a chance for members of the community to donate toys for children ages 0 - 6 years old for children of the Crittenton Centers Crisis Nursery.
Community members that donated had a choice to redeem either a free massage or free first chiropractic visit for themselves or a loved one. Alignlife was able to donate 20 toys, one package of diapers, and $20 to the Crisis Nursery at Crittenton Centers on Friday.
“I just want to help children grow stronger and healthier from a young age and playing with toys is the perfect way to stimulate brain development!” says Dr. Andrea Schnowske, the AlignLife family chiropractor. Dr. Andrea Schnowske is a member of the Crittenton Centers Board of Directors and has been helping with fundraising events benefitting Crittenton Centers for over 4 years.
