ACG New York Names 2018-2019 Leadership Team
NEW YORK (PRWEB) September 04, 2018 -- ACG New York, the largest association of middle market deal making professionals in New York, announced today the election of David Hellier as Chairperson, David Acharya as President, and Marcia Nelson as Executive Vice President, effective September 1, 2018.

David Acharya and Marcia Nelson have the strategic vision and clear mandate of ACG New York Board to continue to drive our chapter forward," said David Hellier, Partner at Bertram Capital, a private equity firm. "ACG New York is driving meaningful change to address the needs of our deal making, transaction advisory and value creation members. The middle market is becoming even more competitive and we are focused on delivering content and a deal making environment that is relevant and focused on high quality business interactions."
David Acharya, Partner at AGI Partners LLC, a private equity firm targeting investments in lower-middle-market companies, was elected President of ACG New York. Acharya has served on the ACG New York Board for five years in a variety of leadership roles, most recently as the Association’s Executive Vice President.

ACG New York also elected Marcia Nelson, a Managing Director at Alberleen Family Office Solutions, an investment platform for families, as Executive Vice President. Nelson was previously Chair of the annual Champions Awards and recently served as ACG New York's Vice President of Programming and serves on the Family Office Committee. In 2017 she was the Lou Halstead Women of Leadership Honoree.
"ACG New York has truly become the authority on middle market growth and deal activity in New York and I am honored to join the organization's executive committee," said Nelson. "I have served on the board with both David Hellier and David Acharya and have worked closely with David Acharya to improve communications and processes across committees. The board reappointed Don Ritucci, Managing Director at Jefferies LLC, as Treasurer; Michael Schwamm, Partner at Duane Morris, as Secretary; Corey Massella, Managing Director at UHY Advisors NY, Inc.; and Brad McGowan, Head of Private Equity Coverage / (TRAS) M&A Transaction Advisory Services Group at Solomon Edwards and Managing Director, Head of Financial Sponsor Coverage at Pickwick Capital, as VP, Membership.
The board elected the following new board members to serve a three-year term: Claudine Cohen, Principal of CohnReznick LLP; Abilash Jaikumar, Managing Director of TresVista Financial Services; Luke Johnson, Partner at Sentinel Capital Partners; Donald McDonough, Managing Director of JLL Partners; Palash Pandya, Partner at Akerman LLP; Jennifer White, VP of Performance Improvement Partners; and Evan Zwerman, VP of MB Financial.
ACG New York members interested in Board service were invited to apply for consideration in early 2018. ACG New York members will again have the opportunity to apply for Board service in early 2019. The ACG New York Board of Directors serves without compensation and is responsible for the overall governance and oversight of ACG New York.
