Aggressive lymphomas are the focus of New York Oncology Hematology's 10th Annual Spring to Life Conference. The event is open to medical professionals for CME credit and includes a session for cancer survivors and caregivers. This year's Spring to Life conference will be held May 5-6, 2023, at The Saratoga Hilton in Saratoga Springs, NY.

Aggressive lymphomas refer to those that grow and advance more quickly. Hematology experts from NYOH, Dana Farber Cancer Institute, Memorial Sloan Kettering, Weill Cornell, and the University of Rochester will share essential developments in the biological pathways, diagnosis, current guidelines, and the existing and emerging therapies for this type of blood cancer.
"From targeted therapies to multi-drug regimens, we can now offer our patients a growing menu of treatment options to manage the disease – including relapses," explains Mihir Raval, MD, conference co-chair. The conference is complimentary for medical oncologists, hematologists, pathologists, oncology nurses, advanced practice providers, family practitioners, primary care practitioners, allied health professionals, and all other healthcare professionals caring for patients with Lymphoma. A maximum of 8.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits are available to attendees. Nurses and other healthcare professionals receive a Certificate of Participation.
The Spring to Life Conference is presented in collaboration with the Medical Society of the State of New York, the Leukemia Lymphoma Society, the American Cancer Society, and myMedEd, Inc.
This year's conference also includes a special afternoon session, complimentary for cancer patients, survivors, family members, and caregivers. On May 6, 2023, from 3:30 p.m. – 5:30 p.m., "Enduring Big Emotions" will explore hands-on techniques for managing the mental impact of cancer treatment. The session will include writing, gratitude, and commitment therapies and will be led by social workers and therapists.
