Anderson Design Studio Names New Partner
NASHVILLE, Tenn., Aug. 8, 2018 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- Anderson Design Studio, an internationally renowned interior design firm based in Nashville, is pleased to announce that Katie Stix, IIDA has been made a partner effective May 1, 2018. Katie will play a key role working alongside founder and Principal Designer, Kathy Anderson, IIDA to advance the business.
Kathy Anderson founded the business in 1988 and quickly became Nashville's go to celebrity designer with clients including; Alan Jackson, Blake Shelton, Josh Turner, Steve Winwood, Tony Brown, Kix Brooks and Ashley Judd. Her work has been published in magazines such as: Architectural Digest, People, Cambria Style, Music Row Magazine and Nashville Lifestyles to name a few. Kathy's reputation for delivering unique design spaces resulted in 8 international design awards and her being featured on HGTV House Hunters. She was also named Nashville's Top 10 Women in Business. A few of their exceptional projects include Printers Alley Lofts, Grand Ole Opry House, Ryman Auditorium dressing rooms, and historic RCA Studio A.

Katie Stix IIDA, LEED Green Associate, and Design Director, graduated with a Bachelors in Interior Design from Marymount University where she excelled in rendering and space planning. She moved to Nashville in 2010 where she is constantly inspired by the creative energy of the city.
Katie's design experience includes high-end residential, commercial and hospitality projects. She enjoys creating eclectic and inspiring environments that are both beautiful and functional. Incorporating the history and charm of existing spaces with updated technologies and modern forms are especially exciting and she is always searching for new ways to interpret design. Her focus is to develop strong client relationships and create a stimulating design experience.
