Antonio DeSano and David Drysdale Join Blumark
Experienced Financial Professionals Bring Insight, Experience to Support Client Goals
TROY, Mich., April 24, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Blumark, a leading boutique financial service and tax advisory firm, today announced the addition of Antonio DeSano as Financial Planning Director and David Drysdale as a Financial Planner and Lead Advisor for Transactional Clients. Both are experienced financial professionals who bring insight and expertise to their new roles in the organization.
In his role as Blumark Financial Planning Director, DeSano oversees operations in the Financial Planning Department, including new client on-boarding and orientation. His personal expertise is in developing client data and building complex plans for those clients, which he delivers alongside Blumark Advisors.
He applies his technological expertise to build streamlined processes. He takes a flexible, holistic approach to planning that is based on client relationship-building to deliver desired outcomes.
When asked how he measures client success, DeSano said, "I measure it based on their level of trust in me and the organization. If I've done my job, there's a level of trust that enhances goal-setting and increases their comfort level with decision-making."
Because of his previous industry experience in investment analysis, DeSano also serves on the Blumark Investment Committee.
DeSano earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree, majoring in Banking, Finance and Business Management at Northwood University, in Midland, Mich. To enhance his acumen and his ability to serve clients, he also has earned certification as both a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) and an Accredited Wealth Management Advisor (AWMA).
As Lead Advisor for Transactional Clients, Drysdale manages transactional work with clients including tax preparation and insurance advising. But he also brings 14 years of experience in the financial industry and a background as a Financial Planner to the role; using this unique combination of expertise to build out the Transactional Department and transition clients to long-term Financial Planning.
When asked what he finds rewarding about his job, Drysdale said, "Helping people. Financial planning is about the client's story. I help them write that story, and every time there is a happy ending, I've done my job."
Drysdale also is an accomplished trainer and presenter. He has trained and led financial advisors and other financial professionals; and he has lectured at the Michigan State Employees Retirees Association (SERA), Rotary International and VOICE Inc.
