Attorney Tyler Claringbole Appointed Commissioner of Condemnation for Outagamie County
Attorney Tyler Claringbole of Herrling Clark Law Firm Ltd. was recently appointed as a Commissioner of Condemnation for Outagamie County by the Outagamie County Circuit Court judges. He was sworn in by Judge McGinnis.
APPLETON, Wis., Feb. 4, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- This position was previously held by Herrling Clark Attorney Andrew J. Rossmeissl, whose term ended in October 2019. Commissioners of Condemnation are appointed by Circuit Court judges and serve for a three-year term.
According to Wisconsin Statutes, "The office of commissioner of condemnation is created. In counties having a population of less than 100,000 there shall be 6 commissioners; in counties having a population of 100,000 or more and less than 750,000 there shall be 9 commissioners; in counties having a population of 750,000 or more there shall be 12 commissioners. Each such commissioner must be a resident of the county or of an adjoining county in the same judicial circuit prior to appointment and remain so during the term of office. Not more than one-third of such commissioners shall be attorneys at law, licensed for active practice in this state."
Tyler joined Herrling Clark in 2015 after clerking with the firm. Tyler has a general practice and focuses on business law and related issues, including: business litigation and transactions, contracts, employment law, real estate, municipal law, bankruptcy, and estate planning.
While enrolled at the University of Wisconsin Law School, Tyler served as the Senior Managing Editor of the Wisconsin Law Review and as a judicial intern for Chief Judge William M. Conley of the United States District Court for the Western District of Wisconsin.
Active in the legal community, Tyler is a member of the Wisconsin State Bar Association, the Outagamie County Bar Association, and the American Bar Association. Tyler is also a recent graduate of the Fox Cities Chamber of Commerce's Leadership Fox Cities program.
