About the author
Yueh-Ching Chung has been involved in movement-based activities, sports, and arts since 1969. She grew up in Taiwan, the Republic of China, and moved to the United States in 1976. She is the founder-director of Heights of Wellness, a state-of-the-art movement and wellness studio established in 2005. Chung blends together the ancient traditions of Chinese philosophy and movement with the scientific knowledge of western medicine. She has developed the 'Purposeful Exercise System', a program that focuses on the missing exercise fundamentals. She offers instruction in Stott Pilates, Qigong/ Taijiquan, to encourage circulation, flexibility, range of motion and a sense of rooting.
