Here, they will embark upon a journey through the vast and dangerous terrain of the Bible landscape. This journey is not for the fearful but for the courageous. Readers will start their journey beginning in Genesis and continue on it until they reach the last verse of the book of Revelation. They will see things and think about things that many would prefer not to. But for those who persevere, their reward will be to know who “their God” is as compared to the God of the Bible and to know how the world could be more tolerant and peaceful if only those of the “Abrahamic faiths” would let go of their image of a vengeful warrior God.
“When we look at the Bible, its people believed that what they were doing in terms of conquering and killing other people is no different from what Muslim terrorists are doing today. And in both cases, the perpetrators believe it is what God wanted or wants them to do,” Kuykendall says.

About the Author
Rev. Dr. Richard E. Kuykendall holds a Bachelor of Arts degree, a Master of Divinity degree and a Doctor of Ministry degree. He has been a minister for more than 30 years, serving in a number of churches in a number of locations in California. In all of his churches, he has conducted weekly Bible studies. At the last three churches he served, he conducted a program called Spiritwind, a study group for spiritual adventurers, where he led those who attended into “the exotic realms of the Spirit.” After his retirement, he has continued to his Spiritwind program at Unity of Auburn, California.
