Janine Rickman has over thirty years' experience in intellectual property law. Rickman has prepared and prosecuted patent applications in the electronic, mechanical and chemical processing arts, including patent applications for printers, gas turbine engines, aircraft systems and displays, product packaging, coatings, automotive components, medical and dental devices, tools, semiconductor packaging, agriculture, and environment sciences. In addition to patent preparation and prosecution, Rickman has experience in patent litigation and has managed the patent and trademark portfolios for several companies, including an international public company. Rickman's pre-law career was as a Production Supervisor and Quality Control Supervisor.
Tyson Benson, a computer engineer, has served clients ranging from start-ups to universities to Fortune 500 companies in obtaining patent protection in a wide variety of new and emerging technologies. With special expertise in machine learning and artificial intelligence, Tyson has experience drafting and prosecuting patent applications in the areas of: automotive systems, electric vehicles, blockchain technologies, machine learning, integrated circuit technologies, semiconductor device fabrication, software, hardware, e-commerce, telecommunications, medical devices, and the mechanical arts. Tyson has drafted multiple claim sets that have withstood scrutiny during Inter Partes Review proceedings. Prior to entering law practice, Tyson was a DRAM Product Engineer.
