Now back in New Jersey, Diego's unique talents will surely take the Horizon Diner, under the new name, 39 Degrees North, to unimagined heights.
Mr. Sanchez has made a seamless transition with the diner, remaining open as he makes modest renovations. Landscaping, exterior lighting, painting and cosmetic changes to the dining rooms have already begun. The hours have been expanded to 7:00a.m. to 9:00p.m. seven days a week. Expect a creative new menu to incorporate classic breakfast and American comfort foods with the new operator's creative dishes inspired by his vast culinary experience.
