Big Brothers Big Sisters Metro Detroit Invites All to Great BIG Auction Event
Local non-profit galvanizes Detroit community for an annual celebration
DETROIT, Sept. 29, 2022 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Big Brothers Big Sisters (BBBS) of Metro Detroit is laser-focused on youth mentorship, and your support is needed more than ever. The "Great BIG Auction" annual fundraising event takes place on Thursday, October 6th at 6 pm in Ford Field's Hall of Legends, a fitting venue for future legends.
Join host and former Local 4 Detroit Anchor Lauren Sanders for an evening of fun, networking and bidding on an array of "experiential" items. Mix and mingle with Detroit leaders, BBBSMD Board Members, sponsors and volunteers as they hold both silent and live auctions to benefit future leaders in the community.
Cocktails, a strolling dinner and music are also on the agenda for a fun night of much-needed fundraising to support BBBS programs that benefit at-risk youth in the community.
Anyone can aspire to becoming a Big Brother or Sister to positively impact the lives of Detroit kids. "Littles" learn skills, positive attitude and leadership from their mentors. Mentors themselves learn patience and positive reinforcement while honing leadership skills.
