Brennity at Melbourne Expansion Underway
MELBOURNE, Fla. (PRWEB) March 19, 2019 -- Sagora Senior Living is seeing progress in the $13 million expansion of its existing independent living campus at The Brennity at Melbourne, which began in July 2018. Vratsinas Construction Company (VCC) from Little Rock, Arkansas was contracted to add 300,000-square feet by October 2019.
“This expansion means that we can meet the needs of the older adults in the Melbourne area,” said Michelle Boiles, Executive Director Specialist for The Brennity at Melbourne. “We are excited to deliver the resort-style living that our residents deserve and desire. We are also adding more of the conveniences that give our community a ‘wow-factor’.”
The current three-story community will add a total of 38 independent living apartments. This expansion creates 24 one-bedroom and 14 two-bedroom apartments. Two elevators will serve the new expansion as well as a parking lot enlargement that adds more covered parking.
In addition, VCC will add a new 7,000-square-feet community clubhouse to complement the existing and new cottages. New resident amenities include an exercise park with a sidewalk walking trail, a pavilion, pickleball court, horseshoe pit, life-size chess and a dog-park area.
Boiles, says existing community improvements are in the works such as new corridor finishes, carpet, paint and fixtures. The renovations are slated to be complete by June 2019.
