(PRWEB) July 09, 2018 -- Brown, Gaujean, Kraus & Sastow, PLLC (BGKS), a full-service law firm in White Plains, has announced its separation from the Rochester office of its firm, Brown, Gruttadaro, Gaujean, Prato & Sastow, PLLC. The move is the result of an effort to focus servicing the needs of the firm’s Hudson Valley clientele, a large percentage of which are in the medical and healthcare arena.
BGKS has also announced that partner Steven W. Kraus has been appointed as a named member of the firm. As a result of the separation and appointment, the firm’s name has been changed to Brown, Gaujean, Kraus & Sastow PLLC, effective immediately.

A trial attorney with three decades of experience, Mr. Kraus has been a partner in the White Plains office for nearly 15 years. He specializes in the representation of the medical profession with an emphasis in the defense of medical malpractice actions. Mr. Kraus advocates on behalf of physicians, hospitals and healthcare professionals in all phases of litigation including trial within New York City, Westchester, Nassau and Suffolk counties, among others. His additional practice areas include complex litigation involving products liability, toxic torts and general liability matters. Mr. Kraus received a B.A. in History and Political Science from the University of Richmond and his J.D. from the University of Bridgeport School of Law.
