The 2019 Volkswagen Jetta received fuel economy ratings of 30 miles per gallon in the city, 40 miles per gallon on the highway and 34 miles per gallon in combined city/highway travel conditions from the Environmental Protection Agency. Drivers with long commutes benefit from this efficiency, as they can travel for longer distances before needing to stop and refuel. This sedan can travel up to 528 miles on the highway before emptying its tank.
