Will Reynolds joins CBRE | FacilitySource as Senior VP of Supply Chain.
PHOENIX, Feb. 21, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- CBRE | FacilitySource is excited to announce Will Reynolds as its new Senior Vice President of Supply Chain.
The hiring of Reynolds is a result of CBRE | FacilitySource's push to enhance its end-to-end facility management business model. With over 25,000 in-network service providers and self-performing technicians, the company has evolved itself by setting a strategic concept to support unprecedented growth across multiple sectors including retail, grocery, and transportation.
With an extensive background in operations, Reynolds will lead the company's supply chain approach and implementation. Enhancing service provider performance platforms, adding local density, as well as centralizing technology, procurement and operations platforms are some projects Reynolds will take on.
"Will brings a proven record of success in supply chain management that will be critical to the delivery of the joint CBRE, CBRE | FacilitySource value proposition to our clients," Andrea Greco, the Chief Procurement Officer for CBRE, said. "Aligning and integrating the capabilities of CBRE | FacilitySource and CBRE around supplier management is a key component of the company's strategy to deliver measurably superior results to our clients. I am confident that this addition [the hiring of Reynolds] will strengthen and accelerate our path to world-class supply chain capabilities."
According to Bill Hayden, the CEO of CBRE | FacilitySource, Reynolds brings the experience and drive to successfully transform the Supply Chain Management Team to progressively encourage company growth. Because of the competitive approach CBRE | FacilitySource is taking, the company grew more than 45% between 2017 and 2018, with continued hyper-growth projected.
"We are very excited to have Will Reynolds join our Executive Team, and lead our supply chain strategy. Attracting, on-boarding, and managing our third party service provider network is one of the most challenging components of our solution at CBRE | FacilitySource," Hayden said.
Prior to joining CBRE | FacilitySource, Reynolds worked in supply chain operations for ten years for Ernst & Young, a globally-recognized accounting firm in London, England. In his previous role, Reynolds provided operation strategy consulting and managed the implementation of supplier management strategies for a diverse set of industries.
Reynolds holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the United States Naval Academy and a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business. In his master's program, Reynolds focused on operations and general management.
Founded in 2005, FacilitySource has always had the mission to offer best-in-class technology and to revolutionize the industry of facility management. With a unique tech-enabled, data-driven approach, the company manages over $4 billion in maintenance spend, and processes over 4 million work orders annually.
In 2018, FacilitySource was acquired by CBRE, a globally-recognized commercial real estate and investment company. With the announcement of the acquisition, the organizations made a goal to "build a tech-enabled supply chain capability that is unique in the occupier outsourcing industry [which is] intended to drive meaningfully differentiated outcomes for leading occupiers," according to an article regarding the acquisition.
Adding Reynolds to the Supply Chain Management Team is co-aligned with the company's approach to continually optimize facility management processes with a data-driven approach and to maximize performance while maintaining CBRE | FacilitySource's clients' optimal brand experience.
"I'm looking forward to Will driving our ongoing efforts to be the preferred partner for our service provider community, focusing on continuous improvement in performance management, and aligning with the broader CBRE supply chain strategy," Hayden said.
