Cabarrus County Back-to-School Immunization Clinic on August 19, 2023
CONCORD, N.C. (PRWEB) August 07, 2023 -- First Missionary Baptist Church (FMBC) will host a Back-to-School Immunization Clinic at 59 Chestnut Street SW, Concord, NC 28025, on Saturday, August 19 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. EST. Cost is free to North Carolina residents, and walk-ins are welcome.
Sponsored by Cabarrus Health Alliance, the Back-to-School Immunization Clinic is for children five years old, on or before August 31, 2023, entering kindergarten, seventh and twelfth graders, as well as any school-aged child who needs immunizations to comply with the state of North Carolina’s immunizations for the 2024 school year.
“This is a wonderful opportunity for Cabarrus County students to get compliant on their immunizations and avoid exclusion after the 30th day of school. We’re happy to bring this clinic to eliminate barriers of any school-age children needing vaccinations before the 2023-2024 school year starts,” says Dr. Tanja Salary, FMBC’s Faith Community Nurse.
No Cost to North Carolina Residents
The cost of immunization is free for all school-aged children who are residents of North Carolina. Cabarrus Health Alliance will have medical staff on-site for registration and the administration of vaccines.
Walk-ins Are Welcome.
No prior or on-site registration is required. Walk-ins are welcome. The last walk-in will be accepted at 12:45 p.m.
