Candified™ Opens First-of-Its-Kind Interactive Retail Candy Experience in Belmont Shore, CA
BELMONT SHORE, Calif. (PRWEB) July 13, 2023 -- It’s time…to get Candified™! Candified, a first-of-its-kind interactive retail candy store where guests choose their own adventure to Shop, Create or Celebrate, today announced its grand opening at 2 pm on Friday, July 14th, 2023, at 5334 2nd Street in Belmont Shore, California.
Co-founded by Candytopia™ creator and TV Darling “Candy Queen" Jackie Sorkin and global retail and brand executive Amy Kavanaugh Mason, Candified was created with a simple but important purpose: to create Outrageous Moments of Joy. And, guests can do just that at Candified surrounded by world-famous candy artwork, social media-worthy moments and every kind of candy imaginable including nostalgic and novelty candy favorites, toys, accessories, a slime wall, and candy-inspired merchandise galore.
What makes Candified so unique and distinct is its Creation Stations where guests can unleash their own inner candy artist or crafty engineer. Guests can choose from an array of activities including making candy sushi, cookie candy pizzas a variety of colorful slimes, friendship bracelets, or personalizing their very own custom tote bags and bucket hats.
“I have spent 15 years doing magical things with candy and have learned so much about how to put smiles on the faces of children of all ages. This has been a dream since childhood,” said Jackie Sorkin, co-founder of Candified. “We believe in everyone's inalienable right to be ridiculously happy and create an experience where everyone belongs, and we believe we have done exactly that. Most meaningfully, having grown up in Long Beach, I am so honored and proud to make this dream come true right here in the community I love so much.”
“We have created a destination and experience that is so uniquely sweet and magical that you can’t help but be amazed,” said co-founder Amy Kavanaugh Mason. “We are committed to doing one simple thing: and that is to provide everyone in the community the opportunity to experience Outrageous Moments of Joy at Candified. To make sure that everyone gets to experience Candified, a portion of our profits will be used to supplement non-profit groups who want to participate but are challenged financially. We are also proudly working with the Best Buddies Job Program to build out our staff. We couldn’t be more excited about the smiles and laughter ahead. ”
