THE INFAMOUS BEAN’S HISTORY
Born in Morgantown, Pennsylvania on August 22, 2009, with the canine registered name, Neversink’s Never Bean Better, and then residing in Montana and traveling North America, this lovable Golden Retriever grew up to be an ambassador of love. He became a registered therapy dog at the age of two through the observation of Berks County Therapy Dog Group and certification through Alliance of Therapy Dogs. Before he became a celebrity, he served as a therapy dog for Penn State Health
St. Joseph in his early years and spent three years serving as a comfort dog at North Valley Hospital in Whitefish, MT. He has traveled the United States and Canada sharing his Bean wuv, with sick and disadvantaged children, and wooing for his less fortunate canine brethren. He has been quoted in the Wall Street Journal and played a dog that sensed the paranormal on Animal Planet’s television show, The Haunted. He is known around the globe for is woo woo. Never Bean Better Day to recognize the unconditional love dogs bring to human lives. Never Bean Better Day honors the birth of this special therapy dog, Bean, who eagerly spreads his Bean wuv everywhere he goes and improving the lives of those who need it most. The Registrar at National Day Calendar declared Never Bean Better Day to be observed August 22 in perpetuity annually.
Bean is owned by Jim and Michelle Drager. Bean shares his home with two Golden relatives, his Uncle Trooper and cousin Carly Q. They too, are featured often on the Never Bean Better Facebook page … woo woo!
