Cantera Financial Associates of Thrivent Financial Changes Name To IntentGen Financial Partners, Raises $36,500 To Help Local Charities
NAPERVILLE, Ill. (PRWEB) September 27, 2018 -- At its recent community impact event at Naperville’s Cress Creek Country Club, Cantera Financial Associates of Thrivent Financial in Naperville, and their clients helped raise $36,500 for local organizations and shared future plans by unveiling a new name: IntentGen Financial Partners.
To help celebrate, IntentGen Financial Partners, which is an independent practice of the Thrivent Financial Network, invited 14 local nonprofit partners such as Bridge Communities in Glen Ellyn, DuPage PADS in Wheaton and Hesed House in Aurora to share information with clients and guests who then in turn made pledges to donate or to volunteer as they made their way around the room learning about each nonprofit group. Showing its strong commitment, IntentGen Financial Partners matched generous donations made throughout the night by their clients. When the totals were counted, IntentGen raised $36,500.
Candy Egan, the company’s manager of client experience, was very pleased with the turnout.
“Our mission is to strengthen the community by empowering people to make intentional financial decisions to live with greater purpose,” Egan said. “We were thrilled to have to so many clients, guests and our partnering organizations come to our event and live out our mission.”
Susan Brown, founder and director of Pray!Naperville, a nonprofit whose goal is to unite the whole body of Christ together to worship God and pray for the City of Naperville, sees the provider as a godsend.
