The new Trailblazer SUV is available with two engine options, including a standard 137-hp, 1.2-liter with a continuously variable transmission and a 155-hp, 1.3-liter engine with a nine-speed automatic transmission. Front-wheel drive is standard and all-wheel drive is optional on models with the 1.3-liter engine. Both front- and all-wheel drivetrains have selectable drive modes that fine-tune the SUV's handling to the specific terrain.
All 2021 Chevrolet Trailblazer models come equipped with a long list of safety technologies, including front pedestrian braking, automatic emergency braking, lane keep assist and departure warning. Adaptive cruise control, rear-park assist and a high-definition rear vision camera are optional.
Compared to the 2020 Chevrolet Trax, the new 2021 Trailblazer is slightly larger with 6 cu.ft. more cargo space.
