Carmel Valley Ranch Welcomes Guests Back To Its 500-Acre Playground Beginning July 1
Guests Can Rediscover the Joy of Play This Summer with Endless Outdoor Activities for All Ages and Plenty of Room to Roam Across Resort's Wide-Open Spaces
CARMEL, Calif., June 12, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Summer is a time for play, and just in time for the season, Carmel Valley Ranch will reopen its doors for overnight stays beginning July 1, 2020. The resort has been fully optimized to give guests the perfect amount of personal space as they start to travel again—with 500 acres of room to roam, they will be free to explore with confidence.
Although the way people play will be a bit different in the coming months, the cherished hallmarks of The Ranch remain the same. Among them are self-guided hikes and garden tours, three pools, the Pete Dye-designed championship golf course, private and semi-private outdoor activities such as beekeeping and archery, and s'mores under the stars. Ideal for couples and families alike, Carmel Valley Ranch is a place where people rekindle romances, reunite with friends and loved ones, revive spirits, or simply take a few days to get away.
"At Carmel Valley Ranch, we're serious about the art of play—and we are excited to welcome guests back to enjoy our playground with the same abandon as before, but with new enhancements to ensure their well-being," said Managing Director Peter McMahon. "We look forward to seeing kids laughing on the swings, couples watching the sunset from the hot tub, and families hiking our trails."
Summer's bounty will be most evident at Valley Kitchen, the resort's signature restaurant, which now features a spacious indoor-outdoor seating plan for guests to savor Chef Tim Wood's creations. Dishes showcase produce from the on-site organic garden, catch-of-the-day fresh seafood and meats from area purveyors, along with wines from local vineyards. The fun continues with playful treats for all ages at The Market & Creamery, which is open for select activities including house-made goat-cheese tastings, flights of The Ranch's signature Swing wine varietals, and even hand-churned ice-cream sundaes. All group activities are limited to six participants for safety; guests also can pick up made-to-order picnics, find a cozy, secluded spot, and steal away for a romantic or fun-filled afternoon on their own.
The resort's spacious guest suites, and majority of studios, are accessed via open-air pathways; additionally, each room has its own individual heating and cooling systems that are not connected with adjacent suites.
All aspects of the Carmel Valley Ranch experience have been reimagined to minimize contact while maximizing comfort and convenience, such as digital check-in and a text guest-request system. For information on the new safety measures, visit https://www.carmelvalleyranch.com/health-faqs. The resort also has introduced cleaning and service protocols in accordance with state and local authorities, and a cross-functional group of medical experts and industry professionals is providing input as well. All Hyatt properties are taking steps toward certification by the Global Biorisk Advisory Council, with team members completing rigorous health and safety training.
To celebrate the return of guests, all bookings for three nights or more at the resort's best available rate will receive a one-time $100 resort credit.
