Carol Burnett to Receive LA Press Club's Legend Award at December 2 Gala Event
LOS ANGELES, Nov. 2, 2018 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- Legendary comedienne, singer, actress, writer and producer Carol Burnett is set to accept Los Angeles Press Club's Legend Award. The ceremony will take place at the National Arts & Entertainment Journalism Awards Gala on December 2ndat the Biltmore Hotel, downtown Los Angeles, where Ms. Burnett will sit down for an on-stage conversation with award-winning Anchor and Reporter Robert Kovacik of NBC4 Southern California.
The Legend Award honors individuals within the Entertainment Industry for both their Lifetime Achievement and their Contributions to Society– artistically as well as on a humanist level.
From her eleven seasons starring in the ground-breaking Carol Burnett Showon CBS to her current work, talking with kids on Netflix's A Little Help with Carol Burnett, she has delighted and lifted the spirits of generations of Americans as well as serving as an inspiration and exemplar for women in the entertainment business.

The Los Angeles Press Club has a long and storied history as one of the oldest and most prestigious journalist organizations in the country, serving the Southland since 1913.
The NAEJ event is a fundraiser for the LA Press Club, a 501c3 charitable organization.
