Union, NJ: A birth center has opened near you. The Birth Center of New Jersey can give millions of women in the tri-state area, the choice of natural birth experience. Three luxurious birth rooms provide women a serene atmosphere to give birth to beautiful babies. It happens under the supervision of certified and expert nurse midwife. The birth center aims to protect women's health and promote women empowerment.
The Birth Center of New Jersey is part of the Wellness Collective, an 8200 sq. ft facility that is comprised of The Birth Center of New Jersey and Artemis OB/GYN, a premiere women's health facility in Union County, NJ. Artemis OB/GYN has been empowering women for years, through education and promoting breastfeeding and natural deliveries. The Medical Director, Dr. Nicola Pemberton, is a champion for VBAC's (Vaginal Birth after C-Section) and promotes health and wellness every day. She believes, "Women's Health is paramount to the success of today's society".
C-sections are necessary for some women to aid in a healthy delivery for both mother and baby, but it can have adverse after effects. Women may feel joint and back pain throughout life after giving birth through even a single C-section. Infection, blood loss, a blood clot in legs or lungs, nausea, vomiting, and severe headache after delivery are other potential side effects of a C-section. New Jersey has been consistently one of the states that maintain the highest number of C-Sections nationwide. The Birth Center of New Jersey aims to improve that statistic by decreasing the number of C-sections and guiding pregnant women and parents-to-be about the safest and healthiest birthing methods. By working with midwives, we educate parents about the importance of natural birth.
The birth center also has the latest pain management options. We use nitrous oxide patient-controlled analgesia which helps relax and reduce pain during the labor. The best thing about it is that it costs 4 to 5 times less than an epidural. Also, it has no side effects which are even better. Moreover, this system can even be used during water birth and any stage of labor. It will not slow down the labor process.
We have exquisite birthing suites where you can have all the privacy you need. Other birthing centers usually focus on quantity and in doing so they neglect the importance of patient privacy. Our facility has three birth rooms, and each room is equipped with a birthing tub. We have a very comfortable family room with a large screen TV and a children's play area. To be a patient of our birth center, your prenatal care will be through Artemis OB/GYN, where our midwives would be happy to serve you, or you can speak to your women's health care provider. Also, a visit with one of our expert doctors is required to evaluate whether or not you qualify for a low-risk delivery in the birthing center.
Birthing is a sensitive and overwhelming event which requires private moments. Our mom-focused birth center caters to the comfort and needs of mothers-to-be. This center is not just about birth and labor, it also deals with regular checkups from the start of pregnancy till the childbirth. We are more focused on educating people about the importance of women's health and empowerment. At the Birth Center of NJ, we're focused on helping you have a beautiful, comfortable, and natural pregnancy and birth.
We believe every mother has the right to access a midwife close to home.
The Birth Center of New Jersey's foundation is based on our philosophy of choice. We believe in comfort provision at levels; whether it's during pregnancy, before conceiving, or during or after birth. Mother's health, safety, and comfort matters to us the most.
