End-to-end support for a developer's workflow
CodeStream 8.0 simplifies a developer's end-to-end workflow, starting with the creation of a feature branch, through code discussion and code review, and culminating with the creation of a pull request. All without the developer ever having to leave their IDE.
When developers start a new project they typically need to create a feature branch for their work and also update the status on their task management system such as Trello, Jira or GitHub Issues. CodeStream eliminates the friction and context switch involved by allowing developers to select the card or ticket right from their IDE, automatically create a feature branch and name it after the card title, and change the card status to "In Progress". Everyone on the team has visibility of these changes, simplifying tracking and collaboration.
Finally, when the work is reviewed, approved and complete, the developer can generate a pull request without leaving CodeStream or their IDE. CodeStream puts Integrated back into the IDE.
