Cold Laser Therapy Treatments to Become Standardized?
NEW PORT RICHEY, Fla. (PRWEB) December 20, 2018 -- Cold laser therapy has been in existence for several decades, ever since the 1960s. It has had well over 5,000 reports written on it and it is fast becoming another alternative way to treating pain. In fact, the past decade has shown significant improvements in the equipment used to treat patients with this light therapy, but there has never been a way of standardizing this technology to provide consistent relief to patients.
That is until now. Newly formed company, Cold Laser Protocols has been developing protocols over the past few years in order to provide patients with consistent results in treating all kinds of joint and arthritic pain. It has developed a special software package that contains hundreds of different settings which any doctor with access to can utilize and apply to their patients.
So, if a patient came into a practice with a low back problem, the doctor will be prompted by the software to ask certain questions including age, skin type, type of pain and many other variables. These answers are entered into the software and it then calculates a treatment plan to be followed by the doctor and patient, and all the appropriate settings that should be entered into the cold laser equipment. Not only that, the protocols have been developed and can be applied to any manufacturer of cold laser device.
Over time and with more and more doctors signing up to the service, the company aims to further develop and improve patient outcome rates by analyzing all data received by users worldwide. This will be invaluable to all users as before any treatment is made on any patient, doctors will already have an excellent idea of what pain level they can expect to reduce the patient's suffering to and make accurate assessments.
The subscription based service aims to be launched in the early part of 2019 and will make neck and back protocols immediately available. Further extremity levels will be launched as they too are added onto the service.
Dr Coletti says "We are getting very close to the first phase of completion of our software and are eager and excited to launch to doctors in the US and then beyond. We are excited to see patients be able to reduce pain without the need of surgery or opioids."
