Colonial Toyota compares 2021 RAV4, Highlander to 2020 versions
The latest models of the latest Toyota crossover SUVs do more than admirable job of continuing their legacies.
MILFORD, Conn., Mar. 19, 2021 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Colonial Toyota is home to one of the most complete inventories of Toyota vehicles in the area. While every model gets its due from interested parties, it's the dealership's lineup of Toyota crossover SUVs that really attracts the most attention. In particular, the 2021 Toyota RAV4 and 2021 Toyota Highlander have been getting more than their fair share of late. Both models represent the best of what each respective segment has to offer. The 2021 RAV4 is nimble and efficient, and the 2021 Highlander is spacious and highly capable. Both Toyota crossover SUVs are only a few years or less from its most recent redesign. The team of product experts working at the Colonial Toyota showroom have been eagerly waiting for the chance to show off the latest version of both crossover SUVs.
The Toyota RAV4 is the most popular platform currently being produced by the automaker. For the 2021 model year, very little has changed. It is still powered by the same tried-and-true power plant that will make more than 200 horsepower and one of the most adaptable interiors in the automotive industry. In addition to offering a maximum towing capacity of up to 3,500 pounds (Adventure and TRD Off-Road), the 2021 RAV4 can also make up to 69.8 cubic-feet available, just like the 2020 model did.
Colonial Toyota customers who need more space often graduate from the RAV4 to the Toyota Highlander. Owners of the 2021 version of the Highlander will have three rows of seats to use, just like the 2020 version. However, there is a one major difference between the two Highlander model years, the 2021 Highlander offers the XSE trim grade. The new addition to the 2021 Highlander lineup will offer a few exclusive features like specialized athletic styling cues, a sport-tuned suspension and unique ambient lighting system.
Both model years of both Toyota crossover SUVs are universally equipped with a smartphone-compatible infotainment system that will have access to the Android Auto™ and Apple CarPlay® suites of applications. The 2021 RAV4 and 2021 Highlander are also available with a high-speed Wi-Fi hotspot.
