Connsci awarded multiple Prime Contracts with the State of Florida

Connsci, LLC, announced today that it was awarded four (4) Full and Open prime contracts by the State of Florida, Department of Managed Services (DMS), Office of Inspector General (OIG). Connsci will continue to provide IT Professional Services, Audit Support, and Training Services to the State of Florida.

GAITHERBURG, Md., Dec. 19, 2022 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Connsci, LLC, announced was awarded four (4) Full and Open prime contracts by the State of Florida, Department of Managed Services (DMS), Office of Inspector General (OIG). Connsci will continue to provide IT Professional Services, Audit Support, and Training Services to the State of Florida.

The State of Florida, DMS, OIG serves as a central point for coordination of and responsibility for activities promoting accountability, integrity and efficiency in government. As such, they require all of their IT solutions are held to the highest standard of security and effectiveness.

In support of this need, Connsci's new contracts will provide DMS OIG the overall training for:

  • Cloud Computing and Optimization training based on the CompTIA Cloud+ Exam Objectives, including Cloud Configuration and Deployment, Cloud Security, Cloud Maintenance, Cloud Management, Cloud Troubleshooting, Cloud Architecture and Design, Cloud Deployment, and/or Cloud Operations and Support
  • Identity and Access Management Training Program based on National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Cybersecurity Framework, Version 1.1, PR.AC: Identity Management, Authentication and Access Control Category and NIST Special Publications and Florida Rule 60GG-2, Florida Administrative Code (F.A.C.)
  • Cybersecurity Fundamentals, governance, risk, and compliance training in accordance with the (National Institute of Standards and Technology) NIST Cybersecurity Framework
  • Security+ preparation to include threats, attacks, and vulnerabilities; Architecture and Design; Implementation; Operations and Incident Response; and Governance, Risk, and Compliance

Connsci's delivery of IT and cyber-related assessments, training, and enablement will ensure the State of Florida, DMS, OIG has the knowledge, power, and platforms necessary to successfully complete its missions while ensuring the security of its information and systems.
