Constructech Appoints Nancy Novak and Sandra Benson as Co-Chairs of the Technology Day Conference
CAROL STREAM, Ill. (PRWEB) September 25, 2018 -- Constructech today announced that Compass Datacenter’s Nancy Novak and Hexagon PPM’s Sandra Benson have been appointed Conference Co-Chairs of the Constructech Technology Day Conference, taking place on August 21 - 22, at the DoubleTree by Hilton Chicago – Arlington Heights, Ill. Next year’s conference will be a two-day event with concurrent sessions addressing issues in North America and abroad.

The conference will present the opinions and lessons learned from dozens of practitioners who are using construction technology on a daily basis. The event will address the opportunities for addressing the infrastructure supply chain, ways to tackle the skilled labor shortage, and how emerging tech coupled with digital transformation will play a pivotal role in driving diversity and empowering the next generation workforce.

For the past 25 years, Novak has worked passionately in the construction industry in various roles. Currently she serves as Senior Vice President of Construction. Prior to this, she was the national vice president of operations for Balfour Beatty Construction. She holds a degree in Construction Engineering and Management from San Diego State University. Novak was also named Constructech magazine’s Women in Construction in 2015.

Benson has more than 25 years of experience in the construction industry. Currently she serves as the Global Business Development Director of Hexagon PPM (Intergraph). Prior to this she served as Vice President of Systems integration at SNC Lavalin and as CIO at Kentz prior to its acquisition by SNC. Benson has held a number of executive positions in the E&C software industry including being instrumental in Oracle’s acquisition of Primavera. Benson was also named Constructech magazine’s Women in Construction in 2015 and has been a featured speaker and author at many industry events.

I am excited to be a part of this initiative as it has been what inspires my passion for this industry.”
