Consul General of Japan in Kolkata Visited Pinnacle InfoTech's Durgapur Office Campus on 23rd October 2019
TOKYO, Nov. 30, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Mr. Masayuki Taga, Japan's Consul General in Kolkata, visited Pinnacle InfoTech's Durgapur office during Pinnacle's Global Customer Meet 2019.
Upon arriving at Pinnacle's Durgapur campus on 23rd October, Mr. Taga was welcomed by Mr. Bimal Patwari. Mr. Patwari showed him the work process that Pinnacle specifically follows to work with Japanese clients.
After the grand reception, Mr. Taga had a discussion with Mr. Patwari and Obayashi Corporation officials before interacting with the production team. He was fascinated to know about Pinnacle's business model and how Pinnacle is serving Japanese construction companies with BIM services while following Japan specific industry standards. Consul General was also shown what values Pinnacle's team has been adding to construction projects in Japan.
Consul General also addressed Pinnacle employees at the Seminar Hall and talked about Japanese culture at length. He mentioned that Japan is always open to new culture which makes it a wonderful country to visit and stay in. He invited Pinnacle's employees to visit Japan and congratulated Mr. Bimal Patwari on strengthening bilateral business relationships between Japan and India by working with Japanese companies. In the QA session, he was asked about 'Ikebana' and the secrets of Japanese people leading a healthy long life.
He was full of admiration of the lush green campus and participated in the tree plantation program by planting a commemorative tree.
Brief Bio of Mr. Masayuki Taga, Consul-General of Japan in Kolkata:
Mr. Taga was Deputy Director (Head of India Section) Southwest Asia Division, Asian and Oceanic Affairs Bureau in 2000 and later joined as the First Secretary, Embassy of Japan in Pakistan in 2004. He was the counselor, Embassy of Japan in Sri Lanka and Bangladesh in 2007 and 2010. Since October 2016 he is the Consul General of Japan in Kolkata.
