David Kalinowski selected as a CI Fellow by the Council of Competitive Intelligence Fellows

SCHAUMBURG, Ill., Oct. 31, 2022 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Proactive Worldwide is pleased to announce that David Kalinowski, co-founder and president, has been selected as a CI Fellow by the Council of Competitive Intelligence Fellows, an educational nonprofit and leading body of knowledge and expertise for the CI practice.
During his 30-plus years in the field of competitive intelligence, Kalinowski has led an industry and a company. He is a recognized CI expert whose mission has been to teach the value of CI to business organizations and the practical application of it to individuals seeking careers in CI. The Council of Competitive Intelligence Fellows provides thought-leadership, educational guidance, and awareness of sound ethical intelligence practices. It selects CI Fellows based upon its assessment of ambassador, champion, mentor and educator activities. Fellows must also demonstrate their collaborative activities and spirit as well as their professional leadership.
Kalinowski's induction will take place October 27-28 in Arlington, Va., at the Council's annual business meeting.
A highly-respected CI professional, David received the first ever Distinguished Member – Solution Provider award from Strategic and Competitive Intelligence Professionals (SCIP). He also earned SCIP's prestigious Catalyst Award in 2005, which recognizes individuals who through their volunteer services have made important and valued contributions to the competitive intelligence profession. He teaches "Foundations of MI/CI" for SCIP's certification program, has co-authored two bestselling books to promote the understanding and acceptance of competitive intelligence as an essential business function, and directed more than 1,000 global research and consulting engagements for approximately 75 of the Fortune 500 companies. Nearly 30 years ago, Kalinowski and his business partner founded Proactive Worldwide, Inc., a competitive, market and customer intelligence company. He leads the development and implementation of company strategies and tactics to best meet the needs of clients.
