Agency's Creative Reputation On Display With Top Prizes At 10 Awards Shows
NEW YORK, Oct. 21, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Demonstrating its versatility among a bevy or clients representing various industries, the creatively-driven advertising agency DeVito/Verdi has won 45 top awards at 10 different healthcare and advertising awards shows recently, it was announced today by the New York agency.
The independent firm won precious medals for clients in in the fields of Financial Services (Laurel Road), Retail (Bernie & Phyl's Furniture and Legal Sea Foods), Healthcare (BayCare Health Systems, Mount Sinai Medical Center) and Non-Profit (The Partnership For New York City).
The agency announced that it has been awarded 17 gold awards, 12 silver and 5 platinum awards at such competitions as The Obie Awards, The Aster Awards, Telly Awards, MUSE Creative Awards, Hospital Marketing Awards, Graphis, New York Festivals Advertising Awards, Hospital Marketing National, Medical Marketing & Media Awards and The One Show.
Each of these annual awards competitions honors creative excellence in advertising.
For the Tampa-based Baycare Health Systems, the agency won a total of 15 awards for four different campaigns throughout the year, including one popular series that depicted various scenarios when one should go to an urgent care center versus going to the emergency room. The agency garnered nine awards for its "Welcome to Legal" campaign for the famed Boston-based restaurant Legal Sea Foods that playfully tied the brand and its "Legal" name to the recent legalization of marijuana in Massachusetts.
DeVito/Verdi also won two MUSE gold awards for its work on behalf of The Partnership for New York City in helping New Yorkers combat the coronavirus. The pro bono spots featured guidance from New York Governor Andrew Cuomo, and were aired on national news sites throughout the summer. In addition, the agency's produced podcast on political advertising, "Selling A President 2020," took home a platinum MUSE in the Audio category.
