Dr. Regina Crone Transitions to President and Chairwoman of the Board and Sean Crone Appointed CEO at Therapy and Beyond
Flower Mound, Texas (PRWEB) April 17, 2023 -- Therapy and Beyond, a leading provider of therapeutic services for children with autism in Texas, Oklahoma, and Colorado, announced today that Founder and Chief Executive Officer Dr. Regina Crone will transition into the president and chairwoman of the Board role. Former Chief Operating Officer Sean Crone was appointed the chief executive officer.
In new roles, Dr. Regina Crone and Sean Crone will continue together as a husband-wife team to lead an expert team of clinicians to ensure each child reaches their full potential by making therapy fun, effective, and meaningful every day.
Dr. Crone founded Therapy and Beyond in 2006. Under her direction, the organization will continue to be a clinician-owned and operated business. Dr. Crone’s commitment to excellence, a family-centered approach to therapy, and high standards for customized individual care have scaffolded the success of the organization’s therapeutic quality. Since opening Therapy and Beyond’s doors in 2006, Dr. Crone has led a team of nearly 500 and touched the lives of thousands of patients. In 2015, she also founded Camden Hill Montessori, a premier school voted “Best School” in Carrollton, Texas, four years in a row, in addition to “Best Camp,” “Best Early Childhood,” and “Best Place to Work.”
In addition, Dr. Crone’s impact has reached beyond the walls of the organization as a nationally renowned speaker, published research author, graduate coursework designer, pioneer for enacting state legislation, and co-founder of the nonprofit Labeled & Loved.
As founder, president, and chairwoman of the Board, Dr. Crone will dedicate her efforts to developing treatment-focused programs, effective training, thought leadership, public policy, and innovative research while also serving as a strategic leader at Therapy and Beyond.
“Twenty-four years ago, as an ABA Technician, while attending college, I found my passion for working with children with autism,” Dr. Crone said. “Once I became a behavior analyst, I learned the true measure of success is not reflected in data. It is seen in the child’s newfound confidence.”
Dr. Crone added: “I am fortunate to have the privilege to do what I love every day by continuing to dedicate my efforts to innovating and elevating excellent standards of therapy for children with autism.”
Mr. Crone will succeed Dr. Crone as CEO to fulfill a years-long succession plan. Mr. Crone has been with Therapy and Beyond since its inception serving as chief operations officer for the last 17 years. At Therapy and Beyond, he has been instrumental in the overall organic growth of the organization. The knowledge he gained from his previous experience of more than a decade in finance contributed to developing operational structure, technology solutions, financial sustainability, management operations, and intentional strategic planning.
Mr. Crone also enters this role having accomplished originating, scaling, and growing Brytesight, an Architectural Technology Firm, and Camden Hill Montessori.
