There's no reason to leave a child's favorite blanket back home when you can just as easily bring it on your trip. Once the child is safely harnessed and buckled into their car seat, tuck the blanket around them in the seat. He or she will be safe, warm and snuggly for the journey!

Parents who are traveling with small children are already carrying around a lot of stuff. Instead of dragging around an extra blanket, parents can use the things they already have. While children shouldn't wear their bulky winter coats in their car seat, there is nothing wrong with using it to cover up after the child has been safely buckled up.
